LAS TIERRAS NEIGHBORHOOD ASSOCIATION

COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE

VISION:

To Establish a partnership with the Builder/Developer Community, the City of El Paso and LTNA for the purpose of setting high quality standards and compatible development in and near the Las Tierras Community.

MISSION:

To ensure current and future development in and near our community meets high quality standards and is accountable to our neighborhood. We will strive to forge an equal partnership between LTNA, the Builder/Developer Community, and the City of El Paso during and throughout the decision-making process on all development impacting our community.

COMMITTEE MEMBERS:

Frank Sanchez
Mark Tegmeyer

CURRENT ACTIVITIES:

  • Establish communication and create a working relationship with the businesses in our community (El Dorado Plaza I & II). We want to ask if we can leave Association leaflets to inform the public of presence in the community and to try to bring them into the Association.

  • The bag-of-info project. I suggested that we start on the streets closest to Zaragoza and Tierra Este. The information that would go in the bags would be an Association leaflet, important numbers, and ordinances that effect our residents.

  • A community clean-up of Pebble Hills and Tierra Esta. Not at the same time of course.

PLEASE NOTE: If you would like to become a member of this committee, please email the chairman with your request. Just click on the email address and your email program will start automatically.
Thank You
