On June 16th, 20 residents of Tierra Fresno met at the Esperanza Acosta Moreno library to clean up a
portion of Pebble Hills. They did a great job and cleaned 2 very long blocks.
They were helped
greatly by important sponsers of the clean up project... Keep El Paso Beautiful with their clean
up tools and Walgreens with the $40.00 gift certificates that they donated to buy water, gatorade,
and gloves. Thank you so much to the Tierra Fresno volunteers and the sponsors for a successful
cleanup.
AND A SPECIAL THANKS!
To Lorena Estala and Jose Castro of the Las Tierras Neighborhood Association, Community Development
Committee, for organizing this cleanup and making it happen! A job well done!!
