FOR YOUR INFORMATION It has come to my attention through a recent inquiry that it is possible that the Las Tierras Neighborhood Association is sometimes being mistaken as a Homeowners Association. We are not a Homeowners Association. We do not manage, in anyway, your homes nor the common areas within our Association boundaries. We are a Neighborhood Association, recognized by the City of El Paso, who, working with the City, try to make our neighborhoods better in the areas of safety and quality of life issues. I hope this will help clarify any confusion about what type of Association we are. If anyone has any questions, please call or email any officer. |

LTNA MEMBERS GRADUATE FROM THE EL PASO NEIGHBORHOOD LEADERSHIP ACADEMY Wednesday, March 21, 2007, LTNA will have seven members graduating from the City of El Paso's first Neighborhood Leadership Academy class. Colleen Lewis, Charlene Walker, Anita Brysacz, Beth Kuzma, Jose Castro, John Almeida and Mark Tegmeyer have completed the 16 week program which gave them a working knowledge of how the El Paso city government operates. These classes have valuable information that all citizens of El Paso can use. Although this first class is finished, the city of El Paso will have another class start in the fall. If you are interested in attending these classes, or need further information please ask Charlene Walker for an application. |
